Waterproof sails made from PVC fabrics can make that outdoor area much more usable in wet weather. However, because of the increased tensions required on PVC sails and the capacity of the sail to hold water, consideration needs to be given to increased sizes for the fixing points and support poles, and also for fall in the sail to allow the water to run off.
